BOOKING IN
We have an in-depth booking in process - all handled via email by our incredible office ninja Grace. She'll walk you through a few quick steps (packed with info!), to get everything we need from you, and make sure we're on the right track to bring your brand's vision to life.
Because yes, this is about your BRAND! We want to ensure that all photos and videos we're creating are going to tie into your branding look and feel, to create a cohesive look across all your relevant platforms.
So, send us your branding! Send us your references! Tell us what you love! Tell us what you don't like! Let's get inside your brain, and get those creative juices flowing.
Depending on the size of the project, we may schedule in a Zoom session with yourself and our creative team to flesh out all the details. Or we can get through everything we need via email - we have incredible streamlined email workflows to do just that!
SHOOT DAYS
Our shoot days in Johannesburg are always super creative - with a photographer, videographer and creative director on set with yourself and your team - ensuring each image is perfectly crafted and curated to tie into your brand vision. We are like a well-oiled machine on the day though - with our creative director styling areas ahead of time, and then the photographer and videographer tag-team-ing each look.
Everyone is busy at all times, and we love that we are a TEAM first and foremost - ensuring great communication and fun vibes on the shoot day!
POST-PRODUCTION
Our editing team handles all post-production in house, ensuring that your images and videos are processed with care, to tie into your brand's look and feel - and tell your brand's story.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
OUR TEAM
Most photographers are one-human-islands, which means there's one seriously-overworked individual trying to book you in, document your session and edit your photos (never mind also run their entire business - marketing, accounting, you name it!)
With our team, we have prioritised having a person for each role - from our amazing office manager/ninja Grace, to our photographers, to our editors, to our graphic designers, to our studio team, to our marketing team, and all the way to Robyn herself, who oversees all project and team management and creative direction.
We truly believe that team work makes the dream work, and that excellent client care is at the forefront of everything that we do - and we aim to exemplify that on every project that we take on!
Our team has six associate photographers/videographers on it, all of whom shoot for our brand, under the RD creative direction.
This means that when you book a shoot with us, each photographer/videographer has been hand-selected and trained by Robyn Davie, and the team's shoot supervisor, and all of the final edited images and videos will bear the same bright, bold and fun style that we are so well-known for.
OUR STUDIO
Our studio space in Johannesburg sets as apart from many other photographers - as we own this beautiful space, and know oh-so-well how to utilise best! Our very own Fynn Studio is an upmarket escape from the city, in the heart of Parktown North.
It is sure to make every shoot a success, with its spectacular design (double volume ceilings and giant pivoting plexiglass doors!); lots of gorgeous props, furniture and decor options; as well as its tranquil, chic and sophisticated energy.
We are however more than happy to shoot at another location, should it be a better fit for the type of imagery/videos you'd like to tie into your brand.
OUR OTHER OFFERINGS
The team at Robyn Davie Creative Studio have spent nearly a decade photographing lifestyle sessions and running a highly successful lifestyle photography biz in Joburg.
2021 saw another shift for us, as we added our natural light space - Fynn Studio - to our offerings as well. This business has grown and grown - and now offers an array of creative and wellness events; as well as online courses for small business owners looking to level up.

ROBYN DAVIE
Robyn heads up creative direction on all our product, commercial and corporate photography.
She has nearly a decade of experience managing the brand direction for her own businesses - Robyn Davie Creative Studio and Fynn Studio.
In her 20s, she spent four years working as an art director and wardrobe stylist, creating a plethora of sets, looks and styled moments for TV commercials. This honed her creative eye, making her an expert in continuity, styling and creative direction.

Robyn Davie Creative Studio is a brand with nearly a decade of experience in lifestyle photography and custom photo book creation. During 2020 they diversified into graphic and digital design, and have been happily creating branding for businesses around the world since then.
In 2021, the team launched Fynn Studio - a natural light studio space in Johannesburg, available for rent by photographers, creatives and clients.
The team has won multiple awards for their photography, and proudly partnered up with the iStore from 2020-2023. Innovation is at the forefront of everything they do.
