Our Fave Five:
1. Bread Bar Brand Mockup
Bread bar is a bakery mock startup we created for the purpose of building our design portfolio. The mock brand's mission is looking to delivery incredible homemade bread and pastry (delish!)
We designed this gorgeous business card and menu mockup Including simplistic line work and a fun use of colour, while ensuring the use of tones and fonts will give the brand identity longevity.
2. Mascara & Mimosas
After being chosen as one of our lucky Brand Starter Kit Giveaway winners, we got the opportunity to work with the amazing beauty, parenting and lifestyle blogger @mascara_and_mimosas
Incorporating her love of pink with a mix of classic and creative elements, we carried her audience's interests in mind! The use of a simple subtle font and a bold handwritten font brought an element of pop to the design.
3. First Light Yoga studio For this mock local yoga studio we created for the purpose of building our design portfolio, we considered how yoga is associated with clarity and calmness. So for the design of their mock logo and business cards we put an emphasis on modernity. The brand takes a unique approach by using classic primary colours in bold tones that reassures serenity. While the small hand-drawn elements reinforce the concept of small personal thoughts.
Our design process is focused on getting the message of your brand across in simple and beautiful visual details.
4. And Tomorrow
And Tomorrow is a mock store we created for the purpose of building our design portfolio. The mock brand focuses on specialising in art prints and framing. The brand is all about preserving stunning designs and creative work in a way that displays beautifully.
Their visual identity of a mock store front sign and business cards reflects simplicity, Minimalistic with a muted and sophisticated colour pallet that fits perfectly with their thoughtfully classic logo icon created from the & and t of the brand name forming an interesting type mark. The minimal use of colour ensures that the focus is kept on the product.
5. House Doctor Jozi
Another lucky winner of our Brand Starter Kit Giveaway, We got the opportunity to work with the lovely interior designer @housedoctorjozi
Incorporating her brand motto of declutter | restyle | refresh into the elements of the design. This is seen through the use of very neutral colour tones. We provided an interesting logo icon to go with the type logo option, this icon has multiple elements all organised and kept together with a bounding box, this plays on the idea of keeping things ordered. Centre alignment of text and icons exude the organisation aspect once more while the clean lines bring a classic style to the design.
